At Tidal Pilates, mat classes are leveled to accommodate a variety of clients. Descriptions for the classes are listed below.
Basic Pilates Mat - This class is Pilates 101. You will learn the foundation principles of Pilates and the basic series of exercises. The emphasis will be placed on core strength, flexibility and breathing. Props will be used to improve your spinal alignment and ease tension.
If you are new to Pilates or have not exercised in awhile, this class is for you.
Mixed Level Class - Pre-requisite: 1 private session or previous Pilates experience. The mixed level class is designed for beginner to advanced levels. Modifications will be given to challenge different level of clients.
Pilates With Props - The props class is a fun way to variety into the Pilates mat work routine. Props like the flex-bands, mini-stability balls, and small weights will be added into class to challenge balance, coordination and stability.
